Congratulations to Deputies Fenton and Donovan for completing the 576 hour CLEET (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training) Basic Peace Officer's Academy!

Both have learned a variety of topics from legal issues and law to driver training as well as firearms, Custody control, crime scene investigation, photography, dealing with mental health incidents, and ethics are further examples of the numerous subjects covered during this 12+ week academy.

This particular academy was more challenging than normal given the recent pandemic the state and world have faced. Zoom meetings for long-distance learning, small group sizes to facilitate practical exercises, and juggling of dates/times and locations were among the hurdles they and the rest of their graduating class encountered.

A huge "Thank You" goes out to Deputy Fenton and Donovan's families for enduring during the past several months! We all know how family plays a critical role in our successes and we couldn't have done it without them!
